Configure basic settings that control how WP Automator generates content for your WordPress sites.
How It Works
WP Automator uses AI to generate articles based on topics you provide. The system:
- Takes your topic input
- Generates an appropriate title
- Creates content based on your settings
- Publishes to WordPress
Basic Settings
Core Options
Topic
What you want the article about
Word Count
Target length (300-3000 words)
Tone
Writing style (professional, casual, etc.)
Language
Content language (default: English)
Settings Hierarchy
Settings can be configured at three levels, with more specific settings overriding general ones:
Global Settings (defaults for all sites)

Group Settings (applies to sites in a group)
↓
Site Settings (specific to individual site)
Configuring Settings
Global Settings
Set defaults that apply to all your sites:
- Default Tone: Professional
- Default Word Count: 800 words
- Default Language: English
- Auto-Publish: Yes/No
Group Settings
Override global settings for specific groups of sites:
- Create groups like "Tech Blogs" or "News Sites"
- Set group-specific word counts or tones
- All sites in the group inherit these settings
Site Settings
Fine-tune settings for individual sites:
- Override both global and group settings
- Perfect for sites with unique requirements
- Changes only affect the specific site

Tone Options
Available tones for content generation:
- Professional - Formal, business-appropriate
- Casual - Conversational, friendly
- Academic - Scholarly, research-focused
- Creative - Engaging, storytelling style
Word Count
- Minimum: 300 words
- Maximum: 3000 words
- Default: 800 words
- Recommendation: 600-1200 for blog posts
Tip: Longer articles tend to rank better in search engines, but ensure the content remains valuable and not padded.
How Topics Work
Input Format
Simply provide a topic, and the AI will:
- Generate an appropriate title
- Create structured content
